What is EasyMark.ai?
EasyMark.ai is an essay grading assistant designed to help English/ELA teachers by offering detailed, complete and consistent essay gradings based on strict rubrics. Teachers can just upload or paste the essay’s text, select a rubric (either a predefined one, or create one themselves), select a school level, and click “Grade essay”. In less than 30 seconds, the teacher receives a detailed grading (based on the specific descriptors of the rubric) as well as a list of grammatical/coherence errors from the essay.

Now English teachers can just upload the essays that they wish to grade, and get results within seconds (most of them in under 30 seconds per essay). And this is powerful. Teachers can save up to 90% of their time, with the same care for details and fairness for their students.
By default, 4 types of essays are supported: Persuasive, Descriptive, Narrative, and Expository. But we support custom grading rubrics and custom grading criteria as well. This can be as detailed as the teacher wants.
The website can process PDFs, TXTs, DOCX, and soon even images.
After an essay is submitted, the website will provide Detailed Grading for each section of the rubric, a grade for each section, and an overall grade. Besides the grading, it will also provide a list of grammatical errors, Subject-Verb Agreements, spelling errors, sentence structure improvement, and coherence suggestions.
How to use Easymark.ai?

- Go to rubrics and create a rubric
- Go to the essay grading section and introduce details like the title of the essay, grading criteria, and education level, paste the essay text/upload the essay file
- Click ‘Grade Essay’
- Download the report of the grading and the errors list.

EasyMark.ai will process your files, extract the text, and grade the essay based on the type of essay (or the custom rubric you provided) and the grading scale of your choosing.

The essay grading takes between 5 and 30 seconds.
Essays are graded using the two main grading scales: Letter system (A, B, C, D) and Point system (Excellent – 4 points, Good – 3 points, Fair – 2 points, Poor – 1 point). Custom grading scales are supported as well, in the Rubrics section.
We support TXT, DOCX, and PDF files. The files can contain plain text or scanned images (soon).
We currently support English and Spanish. More languages will be added soon! If we notice interest in a specific language, we will prioritize it.
Easymark.ai is currently free to use up to 15 essays per month. We do have paid plans that offer 80 essays for $9.99/month and 300 essays for $22.99/month.
